Alongside subtitling and captioning contemporary movies and TV shows, Subtext Berlin is an avid contributor to the German film heritage programme and its digitisation of films of particular historical value from the archives belonging to the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Foundation, Deutsche Kinemathek, German Film Museum (DFF) and others.

Subtext Berlin also provides subtitles and translations for galleries, art foundations and museums as well as clients in the commercial and corporate sector.
